This refresh includes a new exterior design, a new trim level called the STX, expanded standard equipment for all returning trim levels, a new base powertrain, new optional equipment packages, and much more.

The STX has been introduced as a trim level that’s cheaper than the up-level XLT but offers more options than the base XL, including the FX4 Off-Road package. The V6 that had been standard this generation has been retired. The turbocharged V6 that had been optional is now standard, and you still have the option of the V8 engine or an even more powerful turbo V6.
